Travel within Dubai
Although Dubai has a decent and improving bus network, ferry boats, many taxis and has just completed the building of a metro railway, most of the travel around Dubai is by car. Toll routes were recently introduced on some roads in Dubai.
Another method of crossing the Dubai Creek from Bur Dubai to Deira is in traditional abras, small boats that ferry passengers across the water.
